EBRIEFS E-Mail List Instructions

The NTSB Bar Association provides an open Email List Service called EBRIEFS to inform our members and friends about new events and to provide a method by which anyone interested can ask questions and share their knowledge. You do not need to be a NTSB Bar Association member to subscribe.

In order to subscribe to the EBRIEFS, send an e-mail containing the word "subscribe" (without the quotes) in the SUBJECT LINE to ebriefs <at> ntsbbar <dot> org and you will receive an automated reply with further instructions which must be acknowledged. This ensures that you have a valid e-mail address, and keeps out the riff-raff. SPELLING COUNTS!

Once you have subscribed, you may send and receive messages through ebriefs <at> ntsbbar <dot> org. The NTSB Bar Association EBRIEFS is closed to non-subscribers to reduce the possibility of receiving non-solicited mail. When you receive messages posted to the EBRIEFS, clicking your e-mail program "REPLY" button will send a reply to the sender only. However, if you want to let all other subscribers see your reply, then use the "REPLY ALL" button.

You may unsubscribe to the Email List Service at any time, by sending an e-mail containing the word "unsubscribe" (without the quotes) in the SUBJECT LINE to ebriefs <at> ntsbbar <dot> org and you will receive an automated reply with further instructions which must be acknowledged. This ensures that nobody can unsubscribe your address.

Note the different e-mail addresses which are used for subscribe (or unsubscribe) requests vs. general message posting. Be sure to enter these exactly as given.
